IASO Backup Manager supports all Microsoft Windows platforms which support the .Net (dotnet) application framework, i.e. Windows 2000, 2003 and XP Home and Professional.

Separate versions are available for Windows workstations (2000 Pro, XP, Vista), Small Business Server and Server 2000/2003.

Linux & Unix

There are IASO Backup Manager software agents available for most popular Linux and Unix flavours, such as RedHat, Suse, Fedora and Debian Linux distributions, MAC OS-X, Sun Solaris and many other Unix platforms. When in doubt please check with IASO support for your specific Linux/Unix variant.

Application Support Modules

IASO Backup Manager supports 'hot backup' of MS Exchange and SQL Server databases. For this purpose, Application Support Modules are available, which operate either as stand alone software on a dedicated machine or in as a plug-in to the Windows Server versions of the Backup Manager software.
