Investors
The IASO management team members still control a majority share of the company. IASO is also backed by two venture capital funds:
Since April, 2005 Technofonds Flevoland, a venture fund of the Regional Development Corporation Flevoland (Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Flevoland, OMFL) holds a substantial minority share in the company.
Although Technofonds is financed from public, European Union sources, the fund uses the same stringent criteria as commercial venture capitalists when it comes to business plan, financial foundation and management team.
We therefore consider it a compliment and further evidence of our business concept that Technofonds has decided to trust us with a considerable amount of risk capital, in this early stage of development.
In March, 2010 Main Capital II (www.main.nl), a venture fund managed by Main Capital Partners, has acquired a substantial minority share in IASO.
Main Capital II is a private equity investment fund with a dedicated focus on the Media, Leisure & Technology segments and has top expertise in ‘later stage’ growth capital and small management buy-outs. Main Capital invested in Dutch Filmworks (multimedia publisher), iRex Technologies (eReader technology), Actuera (software and IT services for pension funds and insurers). Sharewire (mobile software development for iPhone/blackberry) and Zetacom (VOIP data communication systems).
